Liturgical DanceThe Good Faith DancersSince their beginning in the spring of 2009, the Liturgical Dance team of Good Shepherd, The Good Faith Dancers, have been very busy. Their repertoire at this date includes three dances to very inspiring and beautiful music. The first dance “How Beautiful” celebrates the beauty of the Eucharist and the sacrifice of the cross. The second dance “Go Light Your World” reminds us that Christ is the light that heals the broken spirit. The third dance “Amazing Grace” speaks to the wonder of God’s forgiveness even when we are unworthy. The team has performed at five services and was honored to perform at the United Methodist Women’s District Conference in Saginaw Bay in October. They are meeting on Wednesday evenings from 5:15PM to 6:30PM and are preparing a new dance for the Christmas season. Blessings of the Spirit, Praise him with tambourine and dancing |
