RELAY FOR LIFE'S FIGHT AGAINST CANCER = GOOD SHEPHERD TEAM

2012 marked our 5th year as a GSUMC Relay Team participant. Our goal for 2012 was $10,000, and we raised over $15,000 — the most ever raised for our team—and the overall money raised for the Roscommon County Relay for life was also the most raised county wide which was over $120,000. Our team also made ALL STAR TEAM (the only one to do so)! We received shirts with the Good Shepherd name. In all we had a very successful year.

We are now starting to work for 2013, and we are in need of some new team members. If you want to have fun and at the same time fight against cancer, this is the team to join. Also, Laurice Tanner is looking for some one younger to take over as team captain or be co-captain to help her. If this is something you would like to get involved in, please call Laurice at 989-821-9014. We are starting our fund raising year with a scrap booking party in September. We as a team are always looking for new idea's for raising our funds.
