United Methodist Men
The purpose of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Men's Group is to promote fellowship and spiritual growth among the men of the church.
The Mens Group meets every third Monday of the month at 6-6:30 p.m. We encourage every man in our congregation to join our group. Our meetings start out with refreshments that are prepared by one of our group, followed by a short program, devotions and a business meeting.
- Men & Boys Nite - June 18 is a special evening at GSUMC! Sponsored by UMM with a delicious meal prepared by the UMW, come hear Pastor Dave Gerber. Dave is an ordained elder and evangelist. He flew helicopters for the Army National Guard and is a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Dave actually has worked with members of the Detroit Lions as a special trainer. He serves as chaplain in the Oxford Police Dept. (there is so much more to tell, you’ll have to come and hear Dave speak.) Dave will also be preaching on Sunday, June 19 (Father’s Day) so you gals can catch up on his message then. Don’t Miss this special evening!
