2012 UMW Trip to Bay View

On July 9, 2012 a group of United Methodist Women went on their annual summer outing (in place of their normal evening meeting).  Traveling in three vehicles to Petoskey, Michigan, they toured the Victorian village of Bay View set on Little Traverse Bay.  Their guide, Mary Jane, entertained and enlightened them on the residents, buildings, and historical influence that made Bay View famous as they walked the Chautauqua site of the early Methodist Summer Camp.  Afterward the group had lunch at the historical Bay View Inn and walked the Memorial Garden before heading home.
