Gardens of Hope Bike Ride for Haiti
Pedal for a purpose! Whether you are a casual cruiser or an avid cyclist, there is a route and distance for you. Join us for one of the following rides:
Saturday, Sept. 5, 8am: Midland, MI ride on the Pere Marquette Rail (paved) Monday, Sept. 7, 8am: Cedar Springs, MI ride on the White Pine Trail (paved)
There will be a registration fee of $25 to cover t-shirt and SAG support costs. Riders are encouraged to have a minimum pledge goal of $100. 100% of pledged money goes to Gardens of Hope for Haiti, a fundraiser initiative through the Michigan United Methodist Haiti Taskforce, https://michiganumc.org/gardens-of-hope/.
Refreshment stops will be provided along the trails. SAG support will be available for bike repair/pick up, distance relief, and/or water and snacks. Riders must have a working cell phone and wear a helmet. Riders will submit a route plan at registration and will confirm with the support crew by text when they have finished the ride.
