THE UNITED WOMEN IN FAITH PURPOSE
The Organized unit of United Women in Faith shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is:
To know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ;
To develop a creative, supportive fellowship;
To expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Our reason to be an organization of laywomen mobilized for mission:
To be a community of women
To know God
From Matthew 13:5-6 —
“Other seeds fell on shallow soil with underlying rock.
The seeds sprouted quickly because the soil was shallow.
But the plants soon wilted under the hot sun,
and since they didn’t have deep roots, they died.”
